History

ACCA Consulting was founded in Basel (Switzerland) in 2003. The ACCA Group now includes ACCA Consulting GmbH, based in Munich, Germany, and a branch in Zurich.

Mission statement

- ACCA Consulting conducts fast, professional and inexpensive searches on behalf of its clients to find specialist personnel and executives in all industries and vocational fields.

- We focus on filling positions in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, but we search for potential candidates worldwide.

- We recruit candidates by direct search.

- Finding the best executives is not only a question of networking, experience and extensive knowledge of human nature; it is also about using the right selection methods. Our success is based on my own considerable management experience combined with continuous evaluation of empirical scientific research in the area of recruitment and collaboration with proven experts in specialist fields.

Ethical principles

- Ethics is a key element of my professionalism and means that in specific work situations, I and the employees of ACCA Consulting apply a system of values to guide our actions and provide us with the necessary direction.

- Professional expertise: Thanks to my many years of experience in various aspects of personnel recruitment, I am also able to recognise the limitations of our expertise at ACCA Consulting. I therefore generally refuse to accept contracts that are beyond my capabilities, either personally or professionally, or I pass them on to specialist consultants.

- Mutual benefit: ACCA Consulting is a for-profit company. Nevertheless, the basic principle still applies that the interests of the clients and candidates I represent come first. A partnership can only be sustainable if it is profitable for all three parties.

- Satisfaction: Only satisfied people can perform well. Our aim is therefore always to bring companies together with executives and specialist personnel who share as many values and behavioural patterns as possible.

- Dealing with specific methods of approach: Clients often have very clear ideas about how a vacancy should be filled. In the vast majority of cases, these ideas are based on experience. However, experience can also limit perspectives. It is important to discuss such ideas with the client rather than accept them without proper consideration, because only if both partners fully support a course of action will it be possible to reach a successful conclusion.

- Respectful contact: Under no circumstances do we conduct fictitious searches. Individuals who are contacted directly are only asked about their willingness to make a change. We never attempt to force someone to participate in a discussion or persuade them to change employment. Under no circumstances are employees of client companies contacted directly for at least two years after conclusion of the last order.

- Neutrality: ACCA Consulting has no political or religious affiliations of any kind and explicitly distances itself from sects and other similar organisations.

- Trust is good, but transparency is better. At ACCA Consulting, our motto is: "We say what we do and we do what we say!"

- Discretion: All my clients' internal procedures and information are treated with the utmost confidentiality and discretion. Order-related documents in particular are not passed on to third parties or used in the execution of orders for other clients.
